Mondo Eco-Expeditions has partnered with York University's Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change (EUC) in Toronto, Canada to run the Las Nubes Expedition. York University protects 427.7 acres of land in southern Costa Rica, including the Las Nubes Biological Reserve and the Lillian Meighen Wright Centre (EcoCampus).
With access to these protected areas and the EcoCampus, the Las Nubes Expedition provides an opportunity to conduct hands-on ecological research in primary and secondary mountain rainforest.

York University is a leader in community-based conservation, and we thank them for this partnership. Click to learn more about the EUC's Las Nubes Project and the Mondo-York partnership.

Mondo Eco-Expeditions is proud to partner with Los Cusingos and the Centro Científico Tropical to promote conservation, education, and sustainable ecotourism in Costa Rica.
Los Cusingos, a 192-acre nature reserve and former home of renowned ornithologist Alexander Skutch, is a haven for tropical birds and biodiversity, as well as a site of historical and ecological significance.
Through this collaboration, we support ongoing scientific research, habitat preservation, and immersive environmental learning. Together, we aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for Costa Rica’s natural and cultural heritage.

Mondo Eco-Expeditions has partnered with the Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS) to offer participants immersive experiences at OTS's renowned research stations in Costa Rica. This collaboration allows travelers to explore diverse private reserves, observe ongoing conservation efforts, and engage with scientists conducting vital ecological research.

Through this partnership, Mondo Eco-Expeditions and OTS provide participants with hands-on research opportunities, fostering a deeper understanding of tropical ecosystems and the importance of conservation efforts.
