All of Mondo's expeditions are available for group bookings at any time of the year. Rainforest Research, Reserve Hopping and Turtle Conservation expeditions also have set date options and are open to individual bookings.

rainforest research
Gain hands-on experience in ecological monitoring in a lush biological corridor. Develop field work skills to enhance your CV and live with local families to immerse yourself in the culture. Gain practical experience and a stronger foundation for your future. Geared toward students and recent grads. Alternative lodging is available in the nearby city of San Isidro de El General for group bookings.

Reserve Hopping
Explore a network of private nature reserves and conservation areas across southern Costa Rica, experiencing ecosystems that range from high-elevation cloud forests to coastal mangroves. Along the way, compare conservation strategies at different scales and see how varied environments and management approaches influence real-world outcomes. This experience is ideal for high school groups, university students, and nature enthusiasts.

Turtle Conservation
Witness sea turtle nesting and hatching while learning about the ecology of these ancient mariners. Our 2026 set expeditions take place on the Carribean Coast and are for those looking for a challenge. Stay in a rustic research station and take part in hands-on conservation activities such as night patrols. Contact us to book a group trip on the Pacific Coast with a more relaxed itinerary and comfortable lodging.
